COSA
Information and Availability
COSA is a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) suite of solvers of the Euler, laminar and turbulent compressible Navier-Stokes (NS) equations. All solvers are based on a finite volume discretisation of the physical domain by means of structured multi-block grids. The code is written in FORTRAN, and has been parallelised by both MPI and MPI with OpenMP.
It has a steady, a time-domain (TD) and a harmonic balance (HB) solver, all using a finite volume space-discretisation, and multigrid (MG) integration.
COSA is currently installed on ARCHER and available to all ARCHER as a module and can be accessed by loading the correct module, i.e.:
