Clair Barrass
Clair is the Training Administrator and manages course setup, administration and registration.
Clair is also a member of the ARCHER User Support and Liaison Team
David Henty
David teaches on a wide range of EPCC's technical training courses, including MPI and OpenMP, and is overall course organiser for EPCC's MSc in High Performance Computing.
Neelofer Banglawala
Neelofer is a course organiser for Scientific Python and is also involved in teaching MPI, HPC and Software Carpentry courses.
Nick Brown
Nick is involved with the MSc in High Performance Computing, is the course organiser for the Parallel Design Patterns module and also supervises student dissertation projects.
Oliver Brown
Oliver is an Applications Developer at EPCC, and is involved in
several technical training courses, including Message-Passing
Programming and Software Development.
Mark Bull
Mark teaches on EPCC's MSc in High Performance Computing and delivers many of our 'Shared-memory programming with OpenMP' and 'Single node optimisation' courses. He is EPCC's representative on the OpenMP standards body, and has been training computational scientists for over 20 years.

Manos is a course organiser for EPCC's MSc in High Performance Computing and is very experienced in organising and training on both Software and Data Carpentry workshops.

Dan teaches on EPCC's MSc in High Performance Computing and delivers our 'Advanced MPI' training courses.
Adrian Jackson
Adrian Jackson is a Research Architect at EPCC, where he works on a range of different research, from investigating new memory hardware and programming models, to optimising and porting parallel codes, and working with application scientists to enable their computational simulation or data analysis. He also teaches on EPCC's MSc in HPC, giving lectures on Programming Skills, HPC Architecture, and Performance Programming.
Arno Proeme
Arno has taught on and organised a range of High Performance Computing and Software Carpentry courses, including training in HPC aimed at meeting the needs of researchers in the life sciences. He organises an annual ARCHER workshop on porting and optimisation, and is also a course organiser on EPCC's MSc in High Performance Computing.
Juan Rodriguez Herrera
Juan is involved in teaching ARCHER courses related to HPC, MPI, and Python, among others. He's a certified instructor of Software and Data Carpentry workshops. He also supervises EPCC's MSc dissertation projects.
Terry Sloan
Terry originally joined EPCC in 1994 and holds the position of Group Manager within EPCC's Software Development Group. He has extensive experience of managing novel, HPC and Grid projects for Scottish SMEs, UK corporations, European and global collaborations.
Julien Sindt
Julien is a HPC Applications Developer at EPCC. Before joining EPCC in 2019, he used classical simulation techniques (molecular dynamics, Monte Carlo, discrete-element methods) for various research projects. As part of this work, he has trained a number of M.Sc. and Ph.D. students in these simulation techniques.
Kevin Stratford
Kevin has a background in computational physics and joined EPCC in 2001. He teaches on courses including 'Scientific Programming with Python' and 'GPU Programming with CUDA'.
Andy Turner
Andy Turner is a senior member of the RSE teams for the UK national
HPC services ARCHER and
Cirrus. He is also heavily involved in
advanced computing training at EPCC. Andy has a particular interest
in enabling new user communities to make use of HPC and the use of
novel user engagement to improve the HPC user experience. He has been
involved the HPC Carpentry initiative for the past two years.
